The Agentic Stack: Why Enterprise Software Needs a New Foundation, Not a New Feature
About this session
For 25 years, enterprise software ran on a simple bargain: learn our menus, our dashboards, our keyboard shortcuts, and we'll let you do your job. Agentic AI breaks that bargain. Ravi Bulusu, CTO of IFS Loops, argues this isn't a UI refresh or a copilot bolted onto old screens, it's a foundational shift in what enterprise software is. Fixed UI, the permanent interface users had to learn, gives way to ephemeral UI that materializes only for the decision at hand and disappears once the work is done. That shift demands a new stack, because applications now have a second class of user: AI agents that speak API, MCP, and A2A instead of mouse and keyboard, and that need reasoning, orchestration, memory, and trust the old architecture was never built for. Drawing on IFS Loops' work building digital workers for industrial enterprises, Ravi shows how to tell real agentic infrastructure from a chatbot wrapper.
