About Ravi
Ravi Bulusu is CTO of IFS Loops, the agentic AI division of IFS. He began his career as a network analysis engineer in telecom before relocating to Silicon Valley in the early 2000s to study machine learning at Stanford, a pivot that put him at the leading edge of AI before it became a mainstream enterprise conversation.
Since then, Ravi has co-founded and led a series of AI-centric technology companies, most recently TheLoops, which was acquired by IFS in 2025. That background gives him something rare: a technical foundation built on years of production ML work, combined with the experience of actually shipping and scaling agentic systems inside real businesses.
At IFS Loops, Ravi oversees the development of an enterprise-grade agentic AI platform deployed across manufacturing, energy, and field service operations globally. His current technical focus is on the architecture decisions that separate agents that run in production from those that don't: orchestration design, agentic memory layers, guardrail frameworks, and the process changes that determine whether an agent delivers value or sits unused. He is a direct contributor to the view that agentic AI is not an extension of traditional automation, but a fundamentally different category that requires a different engineering and governance approach.
