William Viet Tran is an Engineering Manager at Meta, where he is building a more expressive & creative Facebook notification experience for half the planet.

Prior to joining Meta, he spent nearly a decade at Pager Health, culminating in his role as Head of Engineering for Data & AI. During his tenure at Pager, William built the Analytics and AI engineering organization from the ground up and led the development of multiple GenAI-powered healthcare features, including clinical triage chatbots, wellness companion agent, and ambient EHR documentation.

Earlier in his career, William served as the Founding Engineer at Implicit (f.k.a Agolo), where he developed a multimodal content extraction and summarization engine for an enterprise knowledge platform.
