Troy Leach is a lifelong advocate for responsible technology that enhances living standards while safeguarding personal data. At CSA, he spearheads corporate strategy, focusing on education, research, and awareness of open controls frameworks for secure cloud, AI, and other emerging technologies. Previously, while working for American Express, Mr. Leach helped establish and then lead the PCI Security Standards Council, setting global standards for payment data protection for nearly 18 years. During his career, Mr. Leach has advised enterprises, security professionals, and regulators worldwide on the latest best practices for security assurance and has been recognized as an expert in payment security by the World Economic Forum and as an expert witness in various U.S. congressional committees. Mr. Leach also enjoys his security advisory role on boards and works with international standards bodies. He holds a Master of Science in Telecommunication & Network Management and Information Security Management from Syracuse University
