Spencer is the Chief Product Officer of Gray Swan AI, where he's building the tools and systems needed to bring safe and secure AI to the world. Getting AI security right isn't just a technical challenge; it's critical to having a functioning society.

Spencer came to Gray Swan via a combination of deep technical training and hands-on product leadership. He co-founded Meta's Llama Security team and led AI Security at Meta, and has held product roles at Google and RealPage. Before that, he led, founded, and built startups across security (AppCertain), real estate and rentals (RentJungle), and e-commerce (SparkIt). His technical foundation comes from a master's in ECE and a bachelor's in CS, both from Carnegie Mellon University.

Outside of Gray Swan, Spencer continues to advise and support startups in AI, security, real estate, and e-commerce, with a particular soft spot for founders based in Pittsburgh PA.
