Shyam Veerasankar is the Director of AI Strategy & Execution at Pacers Sports & Entertainment, the parent organization of the Indiana Pacers, the Indiana Fever, Pacers Gaming, and Gainbridge Fieldhouse. There, he leads enterprise AI initiatives across the full portfolio — spanning fan experience, business operations, live events, and data-driven decision-making organization-wide.

He joins PS&E after more than a decade at Northrop Grumman, where he rose from systems engineering into AI and data leadership. His work there spanned AI-powered workforce and talent intelligence platforms, generative AI production pipelines, and enterprise data infrastructure — experience that gave him a practitioner's view of what it takes to move AI from experimentation to measurable business impact in large, complex organizations.

Outside his day job, Shyam runs Veeralytics, an independent AI consulting and product studio where he builds and ships SaaS tools for small businesses, keeping him hands-on with modern AI development from prototype to production.

He holds an MS in Applied Data Science from the University of Michigan and a BS in Aeronautical Engineering from Purdue University.
