Shruti Kamath is Senior Director of Machine Learning and AI at Mozilla, where she leads AI across Firefox. She defines Firefox's AI strategy and leads the engineering and applied science teams building intelligent browser experiences, including Firefox Smart Window and generative AI capabilities. Her team's Firefox Mobile "Shake to Summarize" feature received a special mention in TIME's Best Inventions.

Over the past decade, Shruti has led machine learning, engineering, and applied science organizations at Mozilla, Zillow, PayPal, and Chewy, building AI systems that power search, information retrieval, personalization, recommender systems, generative AI, and large-scale ML infrastructure for consumer products at global scale. She began her career on Amazon's first deep learning team, has published research at NAACL and ACM RecSys, and holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from Columbia University.
