About Shreya
Shreya Amin is the Founder of Minsphere Advisory, AI advisor to public agencies and healthcare organizations, and New York State's inaugural Chief Artificial Intelligence Officer. She founded Jersey City's first data science function and launched its first open-data platform; a decade later, she built New York State's first enterprise AI framework.
Across 19 years Shreya has led data and AI from nearly every chair: quant at hedge funds, Chief AI Scientist at a healthtech company whose platform reached hundreds of hospitals and was named one of Fast Company's Most Innovative, product leader shipping machine learning systems into 100+ schools including Chicago Public Schools and Miami-Dade, advisor and investor in AI startups, and the executive accountable for AI across state government.
Her work has always been close to the people who actually have to use the system: nurses, patient navigators, social workers, teachers, superintendents, caseworkers, legal teams, security leaders, executives, and frontline program staff. That has shaped her view of applied AI: the hard part is not just the model. It is learning how experts make decisions, turning that judgment into software, and making the system safe, useful, and trusted in daily work.
Today, through Minsphere, Shreya advises state agencies, healthcare organizations, startups, and investors on AI strategy, standards, product, adoption, and deployment. She helps leaders decide which problems are worth solving with AI, what has to be proven before it scales, and how each deployment can make the next one faster, safer, and more valuable.
Her thesis is simple: AI reaches people at the speed institutions learn to trust it - and that trust can be engineered.
