Saral Jain is SVP of Engineering and Chief Information Officer at Snap Inc., where he leads all engineering efforts for Snapchat, including building products that reach our global community of almost a billion Snapchat users. His team builds our product experiences, multi-cloud infrastructure, machine learning and generative AI platforms - that lay the foundation for technical excellence at Snap.

His organization spans engineering, research, product, program management, and operations, with teams distributed across the globe.

Before joining Snap, Saral spent 12 years in engineering leadership roles at Amazon (AWS and Amazon Go), Microsoft, and Morgan Stanley. He has led teams across consumer, enterprise and research initiatives —bringing deep expertise in scalable systems, AI-driven platforms, and cloud infrastructure.

Outside of work, Saral enjoys traveling, reading, hiking, and exploring the beautiful Pacific Northwest with his wife and their three-year-old son.
