Sagarika Suresh is a leader in Applied AI Research & Development at Vanguard, where she helps develop next-generation AI systems spanning proprietary language models, Large World Models (LWMs), agentic AI, enterprise reasoning, and AI governance. She works at the intersection of research and production, guiding teams that transform emerging AI advances into scalable enterprise capabilities. Her current focus includes institutional intelligence, world modeling, AI decision support, and enterprise AI platforms designed for high-consequence environments such as financial services. Prior to Vanguard, Sagarika served as a Senior Quantitative Research Associate within JPMorgan’s Finance Decision Optimization team, where she developed machine learning, optimization, and decision intelligence solutions to support large-scale financial decision-making and wealth management initiatives. She holds a Ph.D. in Management Science and a Master’s degree in Information Science from the University at Buffalo. Her doctoral research focused on the design and development of artificially intelligent systems with an emphasis on democratizing AI and improving accessibility for underserved and marginalized healthcare populations. Sagarika regularly collaborates with academic and industry partners to advance practical AI innovation and accelerate the translation of frontier research into real-world impact.
