Rebecca Thomson is the National Vice President of Professional Development at Coldwell Banker Realty, part of Compass International Holdings. She leads enterprise-wide strategy for how nearly 50,000 real estate professionals leverage a best-in-class technology platform and targeted professional development to grow and scale their businesses. Recruited to reimagine professional development at scale, Rebecca has shifted it from traditional training into a growth-focused discipline that drives productivity, adoption, and long-term competitiveness. A strategic transformation and change management leader, Rebecca helps organizations modernize how they operate and lead through sustained market disruption. Her work connects business strategy, technology adoption, and leadership practices, with a particular focus on integrating AI and advanced digital tools into both day-to-day business operations and executive decision-making. Rebecca is a nationally sought-after speaker, regularly invited to executive forums and industry conferences for her practical perspectives on leadership, innovation, and organizational transformation. She also serves as a mentor with Second Century Ventures’ REACH accelerator, advising technology founders on scaling and integrating solutions within large, complex brokerage and enterprise environments. Previously, Rebecca served as a Regional Vice President for Coldwell Banker Realty, leading one of the company’s largest multi-market regions across Chicagoland, Milwaukee, Northwest Indiana, and Southwest Michigan, supporting more than 2,000 agents. The leadership and operating models she built in that role were later adopted across the enterprise. A former President of the Chicago Association of REALTORS®, Rebecca has been recognized as a RISMedia Newsmaker and named to the Swanepoel Watch List, among other national honors. She holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and is known for translating complex challenges into clear strategy and execution.
