Nanhee Kim, MFA, is an Associate Professor of Graphic Design in the Department of Media Arts, Design, and Technology at California State University, Chico. She also has a background in visual communication and architecture, which informs her interdisciplinary research at the intersection of artificial intelligence, communication design, spatial storytelling, and human-centered design. Her work focuses on translating AI-generated insights into meaningful public experiences through visual communication, immersive environments, and design frameworks. She is particularly interested in environmental communication, cultural heritage, and the role of AI in supporting public understanding and engagement.
