About Melanie

Melanie Hill is a transformation architect and enterprise strategist known for guiding organizations through pivotal moments of change—where brand, innovation, and leadership intersect.

As Head of Innovation & Strategy (Advanced Concepts) at Ace Hardware, Melanie leads enterprise-wide growth initiatives that combine consumer insight with operational transformation. She has launched new business platforms, strategic alliances, and private-label brands—including Loud Mouth BBQ, Ace’s first national food brand—while embedding a culture of insight-driven decision-making and data-powered strategy across marketing, merchandising, and digital operations. She is currently helping shape Ace’s evolving AI strategy, guiding how the organization can leverage AI to enhance consumer experiences, strengthen decision-making, and accelerate innovation across the enterprise.

Prior to Ace, Melanie spent nearly a decade at Weber, where she helped modernize one of America’s most iconic brands for the connected era. She built Weber’s global Internet of Things (IoT) and connected products division from acquisition through global scale, and led the launch of Weber Connect, winner of the CES Best Connected Home Product Award in 2020. Her work bridged product innovation, digital experience, and brand storytelling to evolve Weber from a grill manufacturer into a global lifestyle and technology brand.

Earlier in her career at Procter & Gamble, Melanie led marketing strategy for the Cascade brand, overseeing large-scale media investments and driving record e-commerce growth through data-driven category management.

Beyond her corporate roles, Melanie serves as Board Chair of the National Runaway Safeline, the federally designated crisis hotline for America’s homeless and at-risk youth. She also serves on the Advisory Council for Audira Labs, a leadership development organization focused on executive coaching and organizational strategy.

Melanie holds an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and a BS in Biological Sciences from Stanford University. She continues to expand her expertise through executive education in big data, emerging technologies, and innovation.
