About Matt

Matt Cashatt is the Founder and CEO of Polyrific, an enterprise AI company he has built and led for twelve years, delivering software inside organizations where data sensitivity and accountability leave little room for error.

Matt saw early what agentic AI would do to the enterprise. By 2023 he recognized two forces arriving at once: an explosion of autonomous agents reaching into sensitive corporate data with little governance, and a new reality in which business teams could build their own problem-solving applications without waiting on engineering. Most companies treated the first as a risk to avoid and the second as a threat. Polyrific leaned into both.

That conviction had already taken shape in Inferr.ing, Polyrific's inference applications that changed how enterprises put AI to work and now fold into a larger platform. In 2025 the company completed its transition from consultancy to product with the launch of Catalyst: Catalyst Runtime, an AI agent governance platform that deploys models safely on a customer's own infrastructure, and Catalyst Studio, a self-service engine that lets teams build applications connected safely to corporate data. Together they encode more than a decade of hard-won experience into a single suite, and Polyrific is building to define an entirely new category around it, the Enterprise Solutions Engine.

The bet is working. Catalyst is now in production inside enterprises that cannot afford to get AI wrong, with adoption accelerating as agentic AI moves from experiment to infrastructure. Matt's perspective comes from doing the unglamorous work others skip: governance, observability, and accountability to the people these systems ultimately serve.

At AI4, Matt brings the view from the trenches on what it actually takes to move enterprise AI from promising pilot to dependable infrastructure. Matt lives and works in upstate New York, where he is also a part-time farmer, an avid homebrewer, and a father of three.
