About Mark
Mark Borden has spent the last five years embedded in tech-driven healthcare, writing about everything from an AI-powered IVF lab to the first Ketamine clinic in NYC. He is currently editorial director at Conceivable Life Sciences, where he leads content strategy for a biotech startup reimagining fertility care with physical AI and robotics. Borden was previously editorial director at Droga5 before joining The New York Times as Creative-At-Large, where his work bridged the newsroom and business side. His journalism has appeared in The New York Times, The New Yorker, Fast Company, Sports Illustrated, and Fortune. As a Senior Editor at Fast Company, he conceived the "100 Most Creative People in Business" franchise, and his coverage of early internet influencers (The Influence Project) earned a National Magazine Award nomination. He is also founder of Egospeed, a communications and creative strategy studio named for the instant a bullet breaks the sound barrier — the moment when intention and momentum align, ideas meet execution, and brands move from rut to groove.
