Leila Ensaniat is an Assistant Professor of Industrial Design in the Department of Design at San José State University. She is an award-winning industrial designer with industry experience at Cisco, specializing in consumer electronics and human-centered innovation. Her expertise includes industrial design, color, material and finish (CMF), and manufacturing processes. Her current research explores how AI, virtual reality, and augmented reality can be thoughtfully integrated into design practice and education. Her work has received recognition from the Red Dot Design Award, the A’ Design Award, ASUS, and other leading organizations.
