About Khalid
Khalid Turk is Chief Healthcare Information Technology Officer at the County of Santa Clara Health System, one of California's largest integrated public health systems, where he co-chairs the Clinical AI Review Committee and leads enterprise technology strategy across four hospitals and more than thirty clinics. He also serves as Head of Standards Operationalization at the Trustworthy Technology and Innovation Consortium (TTIC), where he turns emerging AI and trustworthy-technology standards into operational practice. With more than 25 years translating complex systems, governance, and AI into executable strategy, Khalid focuses on the question every enterprise now faces: how to scale AI agents without losing control of cost, risk, or value. He is the founder of The HIT Academy and the author of the forthcoming book Intelligent Transformation (Taylor & Francis). He is the Fellow of College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (FCHIME) and a certified Healthcare CIO (CHCIO).
