Kevin Chern is a Senior Benchmarking Researcher at D-Wave. His current research is focused on developing and benchmarking quantum-classical hybrid algorithms---specifically in quantum annealing, Monte Carlo methods, combinatorial optimization, and machine learning. He holds a bachelor's and master's degree in computer science and computational statistics, respectively, from the University of British Columbia. His hobbies include boxing, photo/videography, and learning to play keyboard.
