Executive Biography: Dr. Jana Brown, Chief Human Resources Officer, eHealth, Inc.

Dr. Jana Brown is a Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) who integrates business strategy, digital innovation, and human performance. With experience in sales, workforce, and organizational enablement, and backed by doctoral research on HR's role in digital transformation, she helps leaders and teams excel in times of transformation.

As CHRO of eHealth, Jana drove cultural and workforce changes that helped restore profitability and secure two Great Place to Work® certifications. She developed a three-year Human Capital Strategy, enhanced leadership governance and succession planning, and created a digital HR model to boost alignment, accountability, and AI readiness.

Her leadership track record spans Fortune 100, Fortune 500, and mission-driven organizations, including Centurion Health, CareSource, TIAA, Aramark, Cigna, and The Hartford. She has led enterprise workforce strategies, M&A integrations, organizational transformations, and analytics-driven HR models that accelerate capability and performance.

Dr. Brown holds an EdD in Learning and Organizational Change from Baylor University, along with graduate and undergraduate degrees from Boston University and Stephen F. Austin State University. She also completed executive certifications through the Cornell Modern CHRO Program, Deloitte CHRO Academy, and Six Sigma. She serves as the Governance and Nominating Chair on the National Board of Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, is a long-standing member of the Executive Leadership Council, a former board member of NAAAHR, and an active member of the SHRM Executive Network.
