Greg Koytiger is the Vice President of Artificial Intelligence at Synthesize Bio where he leads the development of Generative AI algorithms for Genomic data. He received his PhD from Harvard University, did his postdoctoral work at Harvard Medical School and for the past ten years has been leading teams at the intersection of AI and healthcare. His work has spanned drug discovery in oncology, training LLMs to understand biomedical text, and clinical outcome prediction using large scale real world evidence datasets.

In his work at Synthesize Bio, Greg leads development of hybrid large language model and latent diffusion generative modeling to model complex biological systems and their response to therapeutic intervention to advance drug discovery and personalized medicine
