Freddy Lecue is a leading expert in Frontier AI (Artificial Intelligence) model methodologies, spanning Generative AI, Agentic AI, as well as traditional Machine Learning techniques. He serves as the Head of Frontier AI Model at Wells Fargo, where he spearheads innovation in AI model development and validation. In this role, he drives the firm’s research agenda, elevates modeling standards through specialized training, and establishes best‑practice frameworks that advance and strengthen the robustness, reliability, scalability and validation of next‑generation AI systems. He additionally oversees the AI‑driven transformation of the model lifecycle, reshaping development, documentation, testing, and broader validation workflows. Prior to Wells Fargo, Freddy held AI leadership positions at JPMorgan & Chase, Thales Canada, Accenture Ireland, IBM Ireland and The University of Manchester UK. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science and is based in New York City.
