Fanny Sie is a Digital Health Business Architect for Roche Information Solutions (RIS), specializing in forging strategic partnerships. Her current work focuses on leveraging Trusted Research Environments to accelerate the development and scaling of AI solutions within healthcare delivery systems.
Fanny has a significant history with Roche, beginning in 2019. She previously served as the Head of AI and Emerging Technology, focusing on M&A engagement with external innovators (academia, start-ups). Prior to that, she was the Head of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Health for Roche Canada and is the founder of the Roche Global AI Centre of Excellence (AI with Roche).
Bringing extensive experience as a clinician, researcher, and business development professional, Fanny's expertise spans medical devices, AI and analytics, and digital health assets. Her diverse career highlights include treating patients as a Radiation Therapist, leading Research and Development of medical imaging technologies, driving Commercialization for 15 academic institutions, and managing government relations for federal digital health programs.
Committed to advancing technology and inclusion, Fanny is also a board member for Canada's Digital Technology Supercluster (DIGITAL) a non-profit consortium focused on accelerating Canadian solutions in critical sectors like health and AI, and a board member for Hackergal, a national organization dedicated to closing the gender gap in tech by providing coding experiences for girls and gender-diverse learners. Additionally, she serves as an advisor and mentor to start-ups in the AI biotech space.
