Derek Holt is Chief Executive Officer of Digital.ai, a leading enterprise software company helping Global 2000 organizations transform how they operate, innovate, and deliver business value in the age of AI. Derek is also leading Digital.ai’s transformation into an AI-first enterprise, embedding AI across product innovation, go-to-market, operations, finance, legal, human resources and corporate execution to drive growth, efficiency, and operating leverage. His work and public commentary have made him a recognized voice on how AI is reshaping enterprise business processes, leadership models, and the economics of modern organizations. Prior to joining Digital.ai, Derek served as President and COO of K4Connect, a venture-backed IoT software company focused on transforming the senior living industry through technology and connected systems. Earlier in his career, he was part of the founding executive team at Startup America Partnership, a public-private partnership with the White House focused on accelerating entrepreneurship, innovation, and regional startup ecosystems across the United States. Derek began his career at IBM Software Group, where he held leadership roles spanning software development, strategy, services, and sales. During his tenure, he worked with Global 5000 organizations on large-scale digital transformation initiatives focused on agility, operational modernization, and the adoption of emerging technologies. He holds a BS in Computer Science from The Pennsylvania State University and an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business, where he was named a Fuqua Scholar
