About Clark
Dr. Clark Cully is the chair of the Technology Division at Indiana Wesleyan University, overseeing graduate degree programs in artificial intelligence, data analytics, information technology, and cybersecurity. He is also the founder of the university's Center for Applied Ethics & AI.
Previously, Dr. Cully was the Chief Data Officer for the U.S. Department of Defense, as well as the military’s top official for AI strategy. In addition to 14 years at the Pentagon leading nuclear, cyber, innovation, and emerging technology initiatives, Dr. Cully served with the U.S. Senate Appropriations Committee, NATO Headquarters in Afghanistan, the Department of Energy, and the National Academy of Sciences.
Dr. Cully holds a Ph.D. in high-energy physics from the University of Michigan and is a graduate of Calvin University.
