Christine Palmer is the Chief Technology Officer for Citizen Security & Public Services at Peraton. Known for her pivotal contributions across artificial intelligence, data science, cybersecurity, and engineering for the Department of Homeland Security, Department of War, and National Security Agency, Christine is no stranger to high-stakes technology environments. As Chief Technology Officer, she is transforming the way we provide AI-enabled information technology for American citizens.
Before joining Peraton, Christine served as the Chief Enterprise Architect and former Technical Lead for the DHS AI Corps at the Department of Homeland Security, where she drove the adoption of breakthrough artificial intelligence technologies to secure the Homeland. In her previous role as the Chief Technology Officer for the United States Naval Observatory, she also led the transformation of legacy infrastructure by integrating advanced cybersecurity and machine learning techniques, ensuring the nation's trusted source of time and critical global positioning, navigation, and timing services remained secure and cutting-edge. Christine also held transformational roles across the intelligence community and Department of War, where she championed the integration of artificial intelligence to enhance critical national security missions.
Christine holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Materials Science & Engineering from Drexel University. As a frequent public speaker and certified subject matter expert, she often shares her vision for a secure, connected, and intelligent future that brings tomorrow’s information online, today.
