Professional Overview
Christine Keung is a General Partner at J2 Ventures. Christine’s career has taken her through a diverse range of experiences in both the public and private sectors. Christine has had the privilege of working in federal, state, and municipal government roles, as well as holding leadership positions at tech giants like Dropbox and Figma. On the investment side, Christine has been involved with Bridgewater Associates, Atomic VC, and a single-family office. Christine’s journey started as an early member of Dropbox's security team, where she tackled emerging challenges in data regulation and privacy. Later on, Christine served as Chief of Staff, overseeing legal, policy, and security operations. Along the way, she has trained security professionals at the SANS Institute and contributed research to Harvard Kennedy School’s Belfer Center and Berkman Klein Center. During the pandemic, Christine joined a COVID-19 task force at the U.S. Small Business Administration, launching the Paycheck Protection Program, which provided $800 billion in critical loans to small businesses. Following that, Christine served as Chief Data Officer for the City of San Jose, where she secured over $1 million to enhance city services through data analytics. Christine is proud to be the first person in her family to earn a high school and college degree. Christine got my MBA from Harvard Business School, where she met Alex, and earned her B.A. in Economics from Wellesley College.
