Bob Serr is Chief Technology Officer at Aristocrat, where he leads the company's Global Technology Strategy across land-based, social, and iGaming channels. He drives Aristocrat's enterprise AI strategy, embedding AI into content creation, game design, software engineering, and data, while overseeing platform consolidation and the security, governance, and resilience standards required to scale AI safely in a highly regulated industry.

Before Aristocrat, Bob spent over 25 years leading technology at planet scale. As VP Engineering at Microsoft, he built Azure Communication Services and its AI-powered communication capabilities for Teams' 300M+ users. As Director of Software Development at Amazon, he led the Alexa Skills Kit team that grew the conversational AI ecosystem to over 100,000 skills. He has led large, complex engineering organizations, co-founded three startups (one acquired by Microsoft), holds a patent in communications systems, earned his MBA from Northwestern's Kellogg School of Management and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from the University of Michigan.
