Blake Brannon is Co-Founder and Chief Innovation Officer at OneTrust, where he drives the company's innovation strategy at the intersection of data, AI, and governance. He focuses on shaping the next generation of AI-native capabilities, advancing responsible data use, and helping organizations operationalize trust in an era of rapid technological change.
Brannon co-founded OneTrust and has held several senior leadership roles across the company's growth, including its first Chief Technology Officer and later Chief Product and Strategy Officer, overseeing all aspects of product roadmap, technology partnerships, and sales engineering. Under his leadership, OneTrust was awarded more than 300 patents and has grown into a global leader in privacy, security, and AI governance software, serving over 14,000 customers worldwide.
Prior to OneTrust, Brannon was one of the first employees at AirWatch and served as Vice President of Product Marketing and Global Head of Sales Engineering. In 2014, VMware acquired AirWatch for $1.54 billion. During his time with VMware, Brannon helped integrate AirWatch into the broader Digital Workspace solution and the VMware end-user computing division, which became the largest business unit outside of VMware's core virtualization business.
Brannon earned his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and a Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Georgia Tech, where he worked as a research engineer. He served on the board of Georgia Tech's School of Cybersecurity and Privacy and is a Georgia Tech 40 Under 40 honoree.
