Ashit Talukder is a visionary AI executive and entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience driving AI, machine learning, data and technology innovation and multi-million dollar revenue growth across the Fortune 100, federal government, and startup ecosystems.

Currently serving as the Global Head of AI at S&P Global Ratings, Ashit leads the strategic deployment of enterprise-scale ML and Generative AI initiatives. He previously served as Managing Director of AI Strategy and Products at Moody’s, where he specialized in transforming complex legacy frameworks into high-yield, AI-driven commercial products.

Ashit’s career bridges elite federal research and commercial execution. He served as Chief Technology Officer for the US Department of Labor and founded the Data Science Initiative at NIST, where he scaled and led a technology division of over 150 personnel to establish national data science, AI benchmarks in partnership with industry leaders. He launched his career at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory, directing high-stakes DARPA, NASA, and NIH AI, ML, autonomous systems and robotics research.

An entrepreneur at heart, Ashit is the co-founder of two successful AI startups, holds a PhD in Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, owns two patents, and has authored over 80 publications.
