Andrew Zarkowsky is the head of AI underwriting at The Hartford. His responsibilities include building responsible AI enhanced underwriting tools to improve efficiencies and effectiveness. In addition, he is responsible for assessing the insurance risk and risk management controls for creators and users of AI. He has worked within the insurance industry, mostly as an underwriter and an underwriting officer, for over 20 years.

He holds a batchlers degree from Boston University and an MBA from DePaul University. He lives in the Greater Chicago Area.
