Dr. Amir Emadzadeh is a Software Engineering Manager for Machine Learning at Meta's Ads organization. With experience spanning healthcare, autonomous vehicles, and consumer technology, he has contributed to AI/ML initiatives at companies including Genentech, Gilead Sciences, Waymo, and Nvidia. At Genentech, he led development of AI-powered platforms for clinical trial automation, while at Gilead Sciences he worked on optimization algorithms for clinical operations. Amir holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from UCLA and is the author of "Navigation in Space by X-ray Pulsars" (Springer). He also serves as Adjunct Professor at California Science and Technology University, teaching Machine Learning & AI courses, and has been granted several patents in AI/ML applications and positioning systems.
