Alberto Silveira is the Chief Technology Officer at Hirevue, where he oversees engineering, architecture, information security, IT and cloud operations teams. With over 20 years of experience, Alberto is a passionate, hands-on and people-centric leader. He authored the seminal book “Building and Managing High-Performance Distributed Teams,” which focuses on steering software teams toward delivering value to organizations leveraging empowerment and full collaboration. He is also the creator of the Carpaccio Methodology for measuring the productivity of Software Teams.

Before joining Hirevue, Alberto was the head of engineering at LawnStarter and PowerSchool Group LLC. He holds a degree in Computer Science from Universidade do Vale do Itajaí.
