Aditya Grover is co-founder & CTO of Inception, and a faculty member at UCLA. Aditya has a decade of experience helping pioneer foundational technologies at the intersection of generative AI and reinforcement learning, including node2vec, decision transformers, and on-policy self distillation, as well as Inception's Mercury models, which are the world's fastest LLMs. Aditya’s work has been recognized with several honors, including an outstanding paper award at NeurIPS, the MIT Innovators Under 35 Award, the IJCAI Computers and Thought Award, the Forbes 30 Under 30 List, the AI Researcher of the Year Award by Samsung, the Kavli Fellowship by the US National Academy of Sciences, the GOLD Award for Distinguished Young Alumni by IIT Delhi, the NSF CAREER Award, and the ACM SIGKDD Doctoral Dissertation Award. Aditya received his postdoctoral training at UC Berkeley, PhD from Stanford, and bachelors from IIT Delhi, all in computer science.
