When Agents Write the Code: Governing AI Systems Built by Humans and Agents Together

· Lando Ballroom 4203

About this session

AI agents now contribute to more than 40% of committed code, and that share is rising. The governance frameworks most enterprises have in place were not built for that reality. In this session, VP of Engineering/AI Greg Jennings will explore how the shift to AI-native development, where humans and agents build together across distributed systems, is fundamentally changing what governance has to cover, and why explainability has to extend beyond model outputs to include the full software and model supply chain. The instinct is to treat this as a control problem, which it isn't. Locking down what agents can do only transfers the bottleneck. The answer is giving humans and agents the same trusted foundation, consistent environments, verified dependencies, and governed workflows from the first line of code to production. Greg will draw on what the team has built at Anaconda and what we're seeing across the Fortune 500 to share what organizations need to get right before regulation forces the issue. Attend if you're responsible for AI governance at an organization moving from experimentation to production.
