Fireside Chat with Anastasis Germanidis, Runway: Building Models That Understand and Simulate the World

About this session

AI video models are evolving into systems that can understand, represent and simulate the physical world. Runway's GWM-1 brings real-time understanding of physics, geometry and human behavior — already powering the largest world model deployment in production through Runway Characters. As world models mature, they open new foundations for robotics, autonomy and scientific discovery. Join Anastasis Germanidis, co-CEO of Runway, in conversation with Jared Perlo of NBC, on what it takes to build general world models and where the technology is headed next.
